almost everything I ate today was 
cold avocado on toast leftover 
pasta salad the air so thick you think 
there’s something wrong with your lungs the 
pooch wanted to go towards the beach 

but sidetracked by chipmunks talked to Bill for 
a while drank duck shit oolong looked for an 
adapter to transfer photos for too 
long in spots where something like that could hide 

three times and found it in the usual 
bag where I started and felt dumb but 
happy to stop looking read some
